About Us

Sheffield Student Prperty t/a Salis Properties Limited has been providing aboutus-thebest_1.png student accommodation in Sheffield for over 30 years, well before you were just a twinkle in your father's eye.

Our office is situated on Ecclesall Road, bang opposite Nonna's Italian Restaurant. This area is buzzing with bars, restaurants and coffee shops. With many of our properties based within spitting distance of our HQ.  All our student properties are in a great position, nicely decorated, clean and bright. All carpets and furnishings are regularly replaced and decorating is done as soon as the house or flat stops looking bright and cheerful.  All student houses have a shower, telephone point(s),  digit aerial, broadband internet facility, central heating and modern kitchens and bathrooms. They also meet the requirements listed below.  All furniture supplied by the Landlord conforms to the Furniture and Furnishings (FIRE) (SAFETY) Regulations 1998.

In general the regulations require:
Upholstered articles must have fire resistant filling material
Most cover fabrics must have passed a match resistance test
The combination of the cover fabric and the filling material must have passed a
cigarette resistance test
Electrical installations confirm with NICEIC standards.

Gas Safety
An annual Landlord's Gas Safety Record (Gas Safe Register formerly CORGI form CP12) is provided
to the tenants with their tenancy agreement

Fire Safety
Each kitchen is fitted with a fire blanket to BS 6575 and a mimimum of 1kg dry
powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to BS 5306 (part 3) and BS 5423
Smoke alarms are provided
