Sheffield Hallam University Mens Football Club's success of all the teams this season has been largley down to the influx of new blood.  Last season saw many of all four squads losing at least if not more than half their players due to graduation; this left the new captains tough jobs to find replacements at the trials.  The team captains in respective order 1-4 were as follows: Matty Wilson, Matt Stout, Ian Bailey and Michael Burgess.  The first team unfortunately had to see commanding centre half and leader Matty Wilson leave due to football committments at a higher level. The club wish him all the best for the future.  The club gave Richard Symonds the captaincy following a club vote.  The club has had a facelift with a new kit and training equipment bought this season, many thanks go to Kitlocker for providing it.  A special acknowledgement goes to the clubs sponsor Sheffield Student Properties who have provided significant financial aid and team hoodies.  All four teams have shared success this season, especially the 4th team one point away from winning their league.
